Wow! Really like the beautiful violet shades going so well with the soft muted greens! Wonderful presentation, Markus!
Really wish I knew what this flower was too, but nope, I'm a real ignoramus on such things!! :)

@Rebecca: You make me laugh, Rebecca, love that, many many thanks!
Lovely violet colour well captured. The shallow DoF is attractive.
BTW I note that you use an ISO of 1600 at a speed of 1/400 s. I guess it must be quite windy - have you tried using a tripod and trying to shield or wait for the wind to die down (I know it's really hard sometimes in the open on windy days). I think lower ISOs will reduce the grain and maybe allow more experimentation at larger apertures to reduce the DoF even more.
I like your innovative approach - makes photography so creative!

@tengtan: Thank you very much!
Yes, the whole day was very windy , but I was in the mood for taking pictures outside and wanted to know how to handle tricky situations manually. All the pictures with the high ISO are taken on the same day. The graininess is a little bit annoying, however at ISO 800 + 1/100 or 1/200 or even less the whole thing was just a dark blur. Have to wait for less windy conditions....
