Hummingbird - first attempt

"Caught" in Bryce Canyon; 1/50 s, F5.2, ISO80, 17mm, µ300D; shot from deep shadow into the bright sunlight, cropped

@kairospix: Hi kairospix, please wait for tomorrow! The zoom is the maximum I could get with the µ300D, the whole scene was actually too far away.

Nicely done Markus! They're tough little buggers to get. I can see enough of this one to almost guess it's a ruby throat? I didn't have much luck with them this year myself.. will get better ones hopefully next year. The trick is how you stalk them ... starting with a feeder!! LOL
